Learning is a lifelong process. Grand Council Treaty #3 supports programs and resources that encourage our First Nation students to achieve academic success at every age.
Within Grand Council Treaty #3, there are more high school graduates than ever. Treaty #3 communities are working to provide better educational support for students wishing to study away from home, and a Satellite format of education for students studying within their communities.
Health Council
Treaty #3 Health Council promotes a culture of proactive policy development and supports government-to-government relationships
As an advocacy group, the Health Council keeps members advised about policies and changes to services that are initiated from the Local Health Integration Network and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
Justice
Kaakewaaseya means “good path” and it gives direction to the many Justice programs operating under the umbrella of the Grand Council Treaty #3 Justice portfolio; Community Justice, Youth Reintegration, Gladue Report Writers, Shanawentasoowin Program

Treaty #3 is mandated to support claimants throughout the Independent Assessment Process (I.A.P) as well as to provide support and services through awareness of traditional teachings with respect to rebuilding families and communities. Healing became an initiative as a result of the Indian Residential School legacy.
