I know I can speak for the entirety of the Anishinaabe Nation in Treaty #3 when I say our thoughts are with the families of lost loved ones in the wake of these terrible attacks.”
The Anishinaabe Nation in Treaty #3 stands with James Smith Cree Nation and mourns with the families of Thomas Burns, Carol Burns, Gregory Burns, Lydia Gloria Burns, Bonnie Goodvoice-Burns, Lana Head, Christian Head, Robert Sanderson, Wesley Petterson, and Earl Burns Sr. who all lost their lives in these tragic attacks.
At this time, Grand Council would also ask that our citizens keep the additional 18 victims still in hospital in their prayers.
