Supporting Treaty #3 with GIS
The TPU has a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team that is available to support map-making, data compilation, and GIS-related initiatives being carried out by Grand Council Treaty #3 and Treaty #3 communities. Also being led by the GIS team is the development of the Treaty #3 Geoportal, an online tool that allows community users to share and access maps and data of the combined Treaty #3 territory.
Physical Maps & Digitization
The creation of hardcopy maps and the digitizing of existing maps is another service the GIS Team can support you with. Whether you need a map made for an upcoming meeting, or information from an old map preserved digitally, the GIS team is here to help you out. See our brochure below for a full list of supports we can provide.
Request a Map or Data
Using these online forms, you can request a physical or digital map, as well as dataset(s). Please note we require a minimum of 2 weeks to put together your map request. Some maps take longer than others depending on the data & details required.
