Emergency Management Planning

Grand Council Treaty #3 is engaged in the coordination and support of Emergency Management Planning. The Emergency Management team can work with communities to support and create emergency plans for floods, fires, pandemics and other emergencies. Planning includes updating existing plans, completing risk assessments, coordinating training, and infrastructure support. The TPU will continue to support the Nation in order to protect our membership and work together in the case of an emergency.

Deployable Devices

The TPU keeps an inventory of deployable devices that can be accessed by Treaty #3 communities should a need arise. Deployable devices available include: Air purifiers, generators, water pumps & hoses, log  splitters, suppression tools, and more! You can always reach out to the unit to see if there is a device available to support your community’s needs.

Deployable Device Request Form

Please note that this is a request form, and each request will be reviewed and responded to by a TPU staff member prior to deployment. As deployment is based on a limited available quantity, there may be a waiting period on certain items. If you require immediate assistance please contact the TPU office by phone.
