Ogichidaa Kavanaugh has recommended that travel restrictions be implemented in an effort to protect citizens and our communities from the COVID-19 virus.  The COVID-19 virus has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization.  We all have a role and responsibility in making decisions that support the health and well being of our Nation.  The primary concern is being able to protect vulnerable populations, our elderly and our citizens who have chronic health conditions and who may not able to fight the COVID-19 effectively. Grand Council Treaty#3 will be postponing meetings and events in light of the travel restrictions.
