Kaakewaaseya Justice Services Indigenous Support Network presents Red Cross Babysitting Certification! Virtually, from the comfort of your own home, open to Treaty #3 youth ages 11-15.

Sunday April 2, 2023 9:30AM – 4:30PM with a 1 hour lunch break and a chance to win an iPhone!

Course Content:

  • Check, Call, Care (includes phoning EMS/911), glove removal, recovery position, conscious choking (adult/child/baby/alone), CPR (baby/child), illness, asthma (includes use of inhaler and spacer), anaphylaxis (includes use of EpiPen), poisoning, insect stings, wound care (i.e. minor cuts and scrapes, splinters, nosebleeds, bumps and bruises, life-threatening bleeding, burns), head, neck and back injuries, broken bones, seizures).

Each youth will receive a certificate from Canadian Red Cross upon course completion.
